I have a feeling I am doing something wrong...

What do y'all say when you call up USCIS to bug them about your I800-A?
I keep getting short uninformative responses.

    We're about to send ours (YAY!) but I was told to mention the place we are adopting from because USCIS is aware of the conditions there. I was also told to be emotional and explain how urgent the need is every single time I call to check. Haven't done USCIS before so that's all I've got, but will be stalking this post for others input! Praying they speed up!
